i am 15years girl. i never had any relation with a boy and i am a virgin (just for conformation)

I recall trying to get birth control…I had to have a pelvic exam, rectal exam and pap test. These are all humiliating, and for a 15 years old, they are not lifesaving. They are not even necessary. Yet, I had to take off all of my clothes and let one of them blackmail me into allowing her(doctor) to spread my legs and inspect my vulva, then push a big metal toy into my vagina. After that, she pushed her fingers into my vagina, and then up my rectum, and then felt my breasts. None of these activities had anything to do with The Pill, but the doctors are allowed to assault on me and millions of other girls,
I objected and was told that I ‘wasn’t comfortable with my body’ and had ‘misplaced sexual issues’.(hello i am a virgin and i never had any relationship with a boy ) Letting a stranger penetrate me for no benefit to me, but in order to get unrelated medication did not constitute discomfort with my body, it constituted discomfort with violation. But, the doctors continued to do it, purely for the sake of humiliating me.

*facepalm* Those are all completely necessary. That metal thing wasn’t a ‘toy’, it was a medical device to make examination of your vagina easier for everyone involved. The birth control pill has major effects on your body chemistry; to put it simply, it comes very close to convincing your body it’s pregnant all the time. Examining the vulva, vagina, and rectal glands are all important to make sure there are no abnormalities indicative of anything that would be detrimental to your health should you start the pill. And while I don’t think the breast exam was strictly necessary, it’s good to have those regularly to check for lumps.

Help with my ankle? I hate crutches?
I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago and I HATE crutches. I know how to use them but I hate them! It’s such a pain to go up and down stairs (my school is 5 stories tall and my house is 3) and people always run into me at school too. My ankle also throbs when I am using crutches for some reason.

According to the news there are states in the US which pretty much have little to no competition in the health care insurance industry-states like Idaho(I believe that’s what the newsguy said)are controlled by 2 healthcare insurances, therefore enabling them to charge what they want.My proposal would be as follows: instead of creating a government owned health insurance, allow people to buy into medicare and eliminate medicaid alltogether. The pricetag for medicaid alone would pay for expanding Medicare. In addition, restrict one Medicare plan only to the elderly and disabled, therefore avoiding that people enroll in Medicare without paying a dime.I truly think that this would work.An additional option would be that the private health plans get subsidized: 1/3 paid by the employer,1/3 by the employee,1/3 by the government–guess what? That really would keep a tab on what the industry can do because the gvmt.specifies the rules.In addition,enrollment can only happen with Social Security number–meaning all newborn American children have to have one–and that actually would allow the gvmt.to get a hold of illegal immigrants of American children–why would you insure your child but not yourself?

Since anyone would be able to buy into Medicare and Medicaid would be eliminated those on welfare would have to buy into Medicare for themselves and their children–welfare departments do consider your medical expenses when you get welfare and foodstamps, so I don’t see a problem eliminating that.Since WIC is a nutrition program it falls under the welfare program.
I do not see why welfare receipients should not have to pay at least a portion of the money they get for their health care.So charge them according to their income–right now they have a sped down program where you have to pay if you go over a certain income–I feel that too much fraud can be done with that-so do away with Medicaid alltogether, subsidize Medicare with it and make welfare receipients pay a portion of their welfare check for health care–even if it is only 20 bucks a month-Medicare receipients have to pay for theirs,if you work you pay for yours, so if welfare receipients pay something for their health care at least a portion of the taxdollars they otherwise spend goes back to the system.

What I cannot understand is why so many people oppose any attempt to get this done. Any healthcare is better than none and every country in this world that has health care had to iron out a lot of flaws to eliminate abuse and to make it run smoothly.I know what it is to be without healthcare insurance:I paid 8 years on my son’s surgery. We had too much money to qualify for gvmt.assistance and because he had asthma and other health issues he was denied health insurance.So I say Obama care is better than no care–the flaws will be regulated and ironed out once a program exists–they had to do that with all programs, they’ll have to do it with health care.And what’s wrong with a gvmt.option?Didn’t most of you go to a public school and a public university?That’s the same thing:it’s "socialized education"–so why the objection?I think my little concept could actually work: what do you think?

I disagree. Health Care reform is a bigger fish than we all realize.

We can’t just eliminate health insurance companies, because they employ a large number of people and the health care industry is a good percentage of our GDP.

I think it is a great idea for health insurance companies to be available in all States. That would certainly increase competition and lower costs. So far that is the best idea yet.

There are only so many TV shows that a channel can have the broadcast rights to. Kids channels tend to do this. The have the broadcast rights to several series and they re run them over and over again for a season then they switch to a news set of shows the next season and do the same thing.

I have run across several questions lately that have reawakened a question I have had before. I am a Christian. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints and I believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one in purpose (called the Godhead) but not physically one being.
I am confused about this Trinity doctrine.

In some of the most revised Bibles that the Trinity doctrine is thrown out of Bible as an error or fabrication. There is only One God, He doesn’t resemble His creation. No man can be a God, common mentality will understand man cant be a GOD.

Doctrine and Covenants 20:23-24 says "He was crucified, died and rose again the third day; And ascended into heaven, to sit down on the right hand of the Father, to reign with almighty power according to the will of the Father". We also know He visited many people after He was resurrected.

I know that Christ is with God right now (wherever that is) working to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man". I know He speaks to our prophets and that many of them have seen Him. I know that someday He will come and reign on the earth!

P.S. Don’t worry about it too much. Not knowing exactly where He is right now is not going to stop you from getting into heaven.

Jesus never claimed to be God Almighty but that he was in union with God as one.
He was placed as King and High Priest of God’s Kingdom..not as God…he was a
God-like one as were the other angels who have power greater than that of man
but they are not Almighty God for they have nowhere near the power or wisdom
or knowledge and ability as Almighty God who created them by means of his own will.
Jesus told his disciples that he was going away to his Father and their Father and to his GOD
and their GOD… The resurrected body of Christ was transformed before the eyes of those
disciples that watched as he was lifted heaven ward as a spirit. The earthly body of Jesus
that existed before his death was entombed. When the stone at the entrance was rolled away
his body was not there. The Bible does not tell us what was done with the body just as it was with
Moses….Think about what controversy would exist today by various groups and researchers who
claim to have found the remains of Jesus Christ earthly body. Look at what a mess is going on
with the burial cloth supposedly that covered Jesus. Think what it would be like with the vast
bones dug up claiming to be that of Jesus earthly body. God no doubt disposed or even allowed
him to maintain the body that he had….for he had a physical body once he was resurrected from
the grave. This is evident in the scripture at Acts 10; 40,41.."Him GOD raised up the third day,
and shewed him openly. Not to all people, but unto witnesses chosen before of GOD, even to us,
who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead." The Bible said Jesus was raised a
life giving spirit. As a spirit son of God, there is no doubt that like the spirit sons that approached
Abraham while he sat under the shade tree, he too manifested a physical body as these angels did
and as the disciples had witnessed the transformation before from the physical body he had on
earth to the transformed spiritual body they saw transformed as he spoke with Elijah etc.,
It truly is not a means of salvation to know about the whereabouts of his physical body but to
have a knowledge of the God’s purpose for mankind…would you not think….the Bible does not
teach the trinity at all nor does it even mention the word trinity
