Four RoomsFour Rooms (1995)

IMDB rating: 6.10

Plot: This movie features the collaborative directorial efforts of four new filmmakers, each of whom directs a segment of this comedy. It’s New Year’s Eve at the Mon Signor Hotel, a former grand old Hollywood hotel, now fallen upon hard times. Often using physical comedy and sight gags, this movie chronicles the slapstick misadventures of Ted, the Bellhop. He’s on his first night on the job, when he’s asked to help out a coven of witches in the Honeymoon Suite. Things only get worse when he delivers ice to the wrong room and ends up in a domestic argument at a really bad time. Next, he foolishly agrees to watch a gangster’s kids for him while he’s away. Finally, he finishes off the night refereeing a ghastly wager.

I don't want him to lose faith in me!?
I recently moved away from my private college campus to live with my boyfriend. We had a great relationship until we moved in together. I’m 20 years old and he is 27. I’ve completed one year of college and it was about half an hour away from the city in which he lives. While I was at that college, I was getting paid $1,100 a month because my dad is a disabled veteran, so the government paid me while I was in school. When I first moved in with him, I transferred to a community college. I hated my schedule, so I dropped my classes. All except for one. I cook and clean for him. I act as an assistant to him. He runs a computer repair business from home. He throws me a small check from time to time for the work I do for him, but outside of this, I only receive $292 a month, which isn’t a major contribution to our bills. We have several arguments a month about my not having a job and not spending my time wisely. I’ve applied to between 20-30 jobs in the past four months and have had no luck! I live in Michigan, which is being hit the hardest in this economic disaster. We have the highest unemployment rate in America. I’m continuing to look for a job. I’ve had two interviews, but neither hired me. I have no prior work experience, and I know that bothers employers. My boyfriend is the one who suggested I move in with him because of my complaints about our relationship not moving to the next level. He said I should leave my current school and move in with him if I wanted to spend more time with him. Now all we do is argue about my unemployment and he says he has given up on my abilities and doubts my ambition. I know he resents me. I am registered for a full time schedule next semester and will be bringing in $1,100 again starting in January. I am looking for advice on improving our relationship until then. I can’t stand the fighting and the elephant in the room any longer. Hopefully, I will be working full-time or part-time by that time too.
