The Pac-10 may no longer be a one-team conference.

The conference’s top spot will be up for grabs tonight when the fifth-ranked USC Trojans travel up to Eugene, Ore. to face off against the 10th-ranked Oregon Ducks.

And who could’ve imagined how big USC vs. Oregon would be after the way the first couple of weeks of the college football season played out?

USC opened up their campaign by steamrolling through San Jose State, then went to Columbus and squeaked by the Ohio State Buckeyes, ranked No. 8 at the time. And they did this with a true freshman quarterback in Matt Barkley.

On the other end of the spectrum, Oregon began their season by being embarrassed by Boise State on the blue turf and watching their star running back LeGarrette Blount get himself suspended for punching a member of the Broncos and almost going into the stands to fight the fans. The next week, they snuck past a below-average Purdue team.

Now, both teams are 6-1 and ranked in the top 10 nationally. USC’s only loss of the season came at the hands of Washington in their third game of the season, while the Boise State loss remains the only blemish on Oregon’s record.

The Trojans have been extremely vulnerable over their last two games. They needed a last-second defensive stand against Notre Dame to leave South Bend with a win and had to make some plays on the offensive side in the final minutes to take down a pesky Oregon State team that has given them problems over the last few years. The USC defense has looked less than stellar over those two games, giving up a total of 63 points in two weeks after only giving up only 43 total points in their first five games of the season.

Meanwhile, the Ducks have been one of the hottest teams in the country since losing their only game. After their narrow victory over Purdue, Oregon defeated Utah at home. Their next four games were against Pac-10 competition, where they won all four games by a combined score of 161-38. This included a victory over then-No.6 Cal, 42-3.

The key for USC tonight is on the defensive side of the ball. The Trojans haven’t had a problem scoring and if their defense can play like they did in their first five games, they should come away victorious. If there is one thing to watch for on offense, it’s how Matt Barkley responds to the raucous Autzen Stadium atmosphere.

On the other side, Oregon has to be able to throw the ball successfully. Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli has been on fire over the last month, but his feet are still a bigger weapon than his arm. The Ducks must be able to run the ball in order to open up the field for the passing game and the rest of their playmakers.

The USC vs. Oregon game will shatter one team’s hopes of a national championship. Who will come out victorious in one of the biggest games of the 2009 college football season?

I’m taking a creative writing course down at the University of the Arts because I want to be an author one day.

Turns out that I’m the only boy in that class…The other 7 students are girls and the professor is as well.

Now, I’m not getting into some crazy fantasy thing about these girls….They live in an entirely different city than I do anyway..

The class is open discussion and stuff, so all talk to one another and we also take turns reviewing each others work.

There’s these 2 girls who sit across from me in that class: One’s a junior, like me, and the others a sophomore…They’re both pretty but the sophomore is really cute.

I myself, I guess I’m not too bad looking… I’ve had girls tell me I’m cute before…

Today, being halloween, we had class with lots of candy and stuff…all halloween themed..

Some stuff happened that had me thinking…

1.) Just for fun, we played this game where we went around in a circle and had to make up a continuation of a random story… Everyone in the class laughed when I said something… (usually it was really random or stupid..)
2.) The sophomore, when it was her turn, said I got eaten by a bunch of zombies and she was like all "haha, your dead.." (kind of like a 5 year old)
3.) I would sometimes say some random horror icon entered the story when it was my turn… The junior across from me ‘freaked out’ in like a funny way and was like "WHAT IS WITH YOU AND THESE MONSTERS??" (She didn’t really say it in an angry way..)
4.) All the girls in class were constantly taking candy from the table and the 2 girls across from me started arguing (again, in a goofing off way) that the other one was going to get fat from eating all the candy. The sophomore then was like "I think YOU should get all the candy" (cuz i hadn’t taken any..) Then the Junior was like SHOVE THAT ALL IN YOUR MOUTH RIGHT NOW (it was a lot of candy..) I just smiled and I was like "Maybe next time…"
5.) These two girls have given very long reviews of my work in class, first off saying that they liked it, and explaining how it interested them, but also saying very dramatic things like "It was BEAUTIFUL" and "That was AWESOME"
6.) When just walking around the class, one of these 2 girls will usually randomly talk to me about something they’ve observed (Like when we visited a museum, one of them would tell me to check a certain thing out…)

Honestly, I’m a really shy person…I’m not very outgoing or enthusiastic. When I’m supposed to do something in class I’m usually really sarcastic and funny about it and I make a lot of the girls laugh.

But today I just kind of felt they were teasing me and having fun with me…Do you think it was in a flirty kind of way or do they think I’m a loser?

Be to 2 girls in a bathtub!

take a rectangular laundry basket and cut a hole on the bottom. Take 2 long pieces of ribbon ( longer than the basket (long wise) , about 5-7 inches longer on than each side). Take the ribbon and on tie it on each side of the basket long wise. Do the same with the other ribbon. (make sure the ribbons are next to each other). Put the bathtub over you and your friends head and the ribbons work as suspenders. Now decorate it! hot glue empty soap, conditioner, shampoo, etc. bottles off to the side. You can also glue a rubber duck and bar of soap next to it. On the other side have a shower towel draping over the side. For bubbles glue light blue and white balloons on you. Wear a robe and a shower cap and hold a loofah. If you want only one of you can be a bathtub by yourself and the other one can be a toilet or a sink.

Picnic Table

Get a big box. On the bottom cut to holes to put your head through. Get a red picnic blanket and cut 2 parallel holes and put it on the box. Take like play food, empty gatorade bottles plates, fake food, fake grapes, food boxes, bags if chips, plates, utencils u know what I mean. Hot glue it on the table and walk around like that! lol!!! Everybody will love your costume!

As Halloween is coming up I like to play some tricks on my roommate and friends…much like from the movie Paranormal Activity and like to get the sound the demons made while they were sleeping…not exactly the foot steps but like the weird sound earlier in the movie of the demon being present. Sounds like a a loud force or pressure. If not is there a soundtrack coming out?
